Completing CLEAR comprises 30 hours of facilitated and self-directed professional development over eight weeks. Participants develop and apply skills in formulating clinical questions, searching for and critically appraising research, integrating evidence with clinical reasoning and patient context, and reporting a clinical case clearly and transparently.

Alongside a submission-ready manuscript, each participant receives a certificate of completion recording 30 professional development hours and, where available, the manuscript citation and DOI. Participation in CLEAR is offered at no cost.

Recognition of these hours as CPD or CPE remains subject to the requirements of the participant’s regulator or professional body.
